Our mission is to create a trusted, friendly and inspiring place where people can discover and share edible plants, mushrooms, berries, fruits, nuts and herbs.

By using ForageGo, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines and help us maintain a safe and respectful community for everyone.

Nature comes first.

Please forage responsibly and respect the environment wherever you explore.

Always:

• Follow local laws and regulations.
• Respect protected areas.
• Leave nature as you found it.
• Avoid damaging plants, wildlife or habitats.
• Never enter private property without permission.

ForageGo encourages sustainable and responsible foraging.

Our community depends on accurate information.

When sharing a finding:

• Only upload findings you genuinely believe are correct.
• Review AI suggestions before publishing.
• Correct your finding if you later discover an error.
• Never intentionally upload misleading information.

Remember:

AI assists you—it does not replace your own knowledge or judgement.

Only upload photographs that:

• You have taken yourself, or
• You have permission to use.

Do not upload:

• Copyrighted images.
• Images copied from websites.
• Misleading or unrelated photographs.

Photos should accurately represent the finding.

Treat everyone with respect.

The following behaviour is not accepted:

• Harassment
• Bullying
• Hate speech
• Discrimination
• Threats
• Offensive or abusive language

ForageGo should always be welcoming for new and experienced foragers alike.

Do not use ForageGo for:

• Spam
• Advertising
• Fake findings
• Duplicate content
• Intentional misinformation
• Attempts to disrupt the community

Repeated abuse may lead to account suspension or permanent removal.

If you find content that appears incorrect or inappropriate:

Use the built-in Report Finding feature.

Our moderation team will review every report.

Please do not argue with or harass other users.

Help us improve the community by reporting issues responsibly.

Your safety is your responsibility. Never eat any wild mushroom, plant, berry or other natural food unless you are completely certain of its identification. Please remember:

• AI suggestions may be incorrect.
• Community contributions may contain mistakes.
• Always use your own judgement.
• Consult reliable identification resources whenever you are unsure.

When in doubt, do not consume the finding.

To protect the community, ForageGo may take action when these guidelines are violated. Actions may include:

• Editing a finding.
• Hiding a finding.
• Removing a finding.
• Suspending an account.
• Permanently terminating an account for repeated or serious violations.

Moderation decisions are made to protect the integrity and safety of the community.

Every accurate finding helps another person explore nature with confidence. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, respecting nature and helping build a trustworthy community for everyone. Together, we can make ForageGo the best place to discover nature.
